Enfermera (Krankenschwester) wurde vor einem Spital gefunden. Sie erlitt einen Schlaganfall, von dem sie sich nie ganz erholte. Trotzdem ist sie ein guter Wachhund geblieben und bellt, wenn Gefahr naht.

Cachorron (Grosses Welpen) will nicht erwachsen werden und bleibt stets in seinem Käfig. Eine Familie hätte ihn gerne adoptiert, doch er wollte einfach nicht mitgehen.

Gusaniao (wurmig) wurde von Würmern zerfressen in einer Box ausgesetzt. Nach einer Woche Intensivpflege begann er zu essen und ist jetzt wieder gesund.

Mama wurde zusammen mit ihrem Nachwuchs vor dem Hundeheim ausgesetzt. Alle ihre Kinder konnten platziert werden, doch sie selber fand kein neues Zuhause. Mama ist sehr alt und fast blind und verlässt ihren Schlafplatz kaum noch.

Atro (von Atropelledo) wurde von einem Auto angefahren. Trotz aufwendigen Operationen konnte sein Bein nicht gerettet werden. Seither ist er sehr einsam und spielt praktisch nie mit anderen Hunden.

Pichurra ist sehr alt und seit Jahren im Heim. Sie ist extrem ruhig, streitet sich nie – und nicht mal, wenn andere Hunde ihr Essen klauen, beklagt sie sich.

Cucurucha ist eine sehr nervöse Hündin. Wenn sich jemand nähert, beginnt sie sofort zu jaulen. In Kämpfe ist sie nie verwickelt, aber sie klaut anderen Hunden das Fressen.

Als Carita ins Hundeheim kam, litt sie unter Räude, einer Milbenerkrankung, und wäre fast gestorben. Carita ist sehr aggressiv und hat schon mehrere andere Hunde im Kampf getötet. Deswegen muss sie in einem zugesperrten Zwinger hausen.

Paton (Grossfuss) hat sehr lange Beine und wirkt deshalb etwas ungelenk. Alle im Heim lieben ihn. Er ist immer glücklich, in Spiellaune und mag Menschen.
