Trump, das ist der Star in der 11. Staffel der kenianischen Satiresendung «The XYZ Show». Die Show lehnt sich mit ihren Protagonisten aus Latex, getragen und gesteuert von zwei Puppenspielern, an die französische Satiresendung «Les Guignols» an und nimmt seit ihrer Lancierung durch den Zeichner Godfrey «Gado» Mwampembwa im Jahr 2009 die politischen Eliten insbesondere von Kenia auf die Schippe. Nun, wenige Monate vor der Präsidentschaftswahl in den Vereinigten Staaten, erhält der republikanische Kandidat eine Bühne in der Satiresendung und nutzt diese, um sich über seine Lieblingsthemen auszulassen: seinen Hass auf Clinton, die Migration, das Schliessen von Flüchtlingscamps und die Errichtung von Mauern gegen die illegalen Zuwanderer. Themen also, die auch in Ostafrika ein Publikum finden. Noch lachen die Kenianer über den Nonsens, den ihr Trump in «The XYZ Show» von sich gibt.
